In three words, my experience with the hotel and restaurant recruitment firm Tovalea was: surprising, rewarding and brilliantly human. As to the “surprise” effect, I was contacted by Alexandra via my LinkedIn profile. Her professionalism and kindness inspired me to meet with her even though I wasn’t even currently on the market for a new position. At the end of our first meeting, she told me about the opportunity that had led her to contact me: an open position that was perfectly suited to my career path. The enthusiasm she instilled in me concerning this opportunity led me to discover a new group of wonderful people. Meeting these new peers within the industry was incredibly enriching for my career thanks to the exciting exchanges we had, centred on a common ambition related to the future of our profession. And finally, I used “brilliantly human” because, even though I chose to remain with my current employer in the end, Valérie and Alexandra were very kind, understanding and supportive of my decision. If I could sum it all up, in just one word this time, I would say: THANKS 🙂
